JAMAICA: Pakistan dominate West indies on Day 4, 1st Test, as Yasir Shah takes 4 wickets and is looking forward to a clean 5 wkt sweep.

Yasir Shah took 4 wickets against West indies in 9 overs, with West Indies 93-4 (28). Yasir took his first wicket of Kraig Brathwaite (10.1) by bowling him out on a quicker delivery off his very first ball in the spell. Secondly Yasir bowled Hetmyer off his tigerish comeback (20.3). After getting smacked for a six previous ball, he produces a monster ball to send Hetmyer back to the pavilion. Thirdly Yasir picked up the wicket of Shai Hope through the LBW system (24.2). Hope decides to take review, third-umpire decides to stay with original decision.  Finally he took the wicket of Powell off the last ball of the second last over of the day before stumps. The well-set Powell had been chugged down. Slips in a googly does the job, as Younis Khan grabs the ball in slip.

Misbah ul Haq on the other hand was very unlucky. He remained not-out on 99 at the non-striking end as debutant Mohammad Abbas was trapped LBW by Roston Chase. Pakistan managed to close the inning off with a competitive 407 on board on Day 4.

Misbah played 223 deliveries, stroked five boundaries and smashed three sixes, but couldn’t reach the 100 unfortunately.

Misbah became the sicth player overall in the 140 years of TEST cricket to be left on 99 in an innings followed by Geoff Boycott, Steve Waugh, Alex Tudor, Shaun Pollock, and Andrew Hall.

During the same inning, he also became the 7th Pakistani to reach 5000 run milestone in Test Cricket.
