The Pakistan Super League 2016 was a historical and one of the most memorable cricket related entertainment, which has ever have happened in Pakistan's cricket. As the PSL is back later on this month, I am here to talk about the TOP 5 moments of The PSL 2016.
5. Mohammad Amir's Hat-trick
It had been only the second match of PSL, and Mohammad Amir had already showcased his bowling talent. Amir's hat-trick later steered Karachi Kings to an amazing 7 wicket win, against arch-rivals, Lahore Qalandars.
4. Sharjeel Khan, 1st Century of the Pakistan Super League
We all admit, Sharjeel khan is a destructive and awesome opener. But after watching Sharjeel's 117 off 62 balls, it made me love him even more. This extremely important century was the main reason, why Islamabad United, won the semi-final against Peshawar Zalmi, and later on won The first edition of PSL.
3. Shahid Afridi's, special five-wicket haul
Cricket is not cricket without Shahid Afridi, well so is PSL. Afridi reached his career best figures of 5 wickets conceding only 7 runs, leading Peshawar Zalmi to an excellent 8 wicket win.
2. Not acceptable physical contact between, Wahab and Ahmed.
During Peshawar Zalmi vs Quetta Gladiators, Ahmad Shehzad hits Wahab Riaz for a resounding six, Wahab strikes back for redemption on the very next delivery — dislodging the bails and sending Shehzad towards the pavilion.
1. PSL 2016's winning Moments
No one could have been more apt than the captain Misbah-ul-Haq to score the winning runs and bag the first PSL trophy.
