Injury casts doubt on Afridi's inclusion in PSL final
A terrible injury to the hand while fielding at cover has killed all chances for Shahid Afridi’s conclusion for the Pakistan Super League’s final against Quetta Gladiators in Lahore on March 5th.
Afridi injured his right hand on Friday while attempting a catch off a drive from Kieron Pollard. Per sources, Afridi was immediately rushed to the First Aid station and received 12 stiches to his right hand.
Photos from Facebook and Twitter show Afridi’s right Hand, heavily bandaged, after receiving first aid treatment.
It isn’t confirmed yet by an official, if Afridi will be playing, but after watching the injury without the bandage, it is most likely that Afridi will not play for Peshawar Zalmi in the final off PSL 2017, at Lahore.
