Hashim Amla or Faf Du Plessis to captain World XI scheduled to tour Pakistan

@ahad.2002: It has been heavily reported, either South African opener Hashim Amla or South African Captain, Faf Du Plessis will captain World XI scheduled to tour Lahore for 3 T20s. According to a reliable source, ICC and PCB are currently processing financial and insurance matters for World XI players. Once contracts are signed by the cricketers, the XI will be announced.
A Board Official told Dawn News this morning (Tuesday) that
either of the two South African stars will captain the World 11. PCB chairman
Najam Sethi said on Monday that 15 players from 7 countries have agreed to
visit Pakistan as part of World XI. The squad will be announced in next three
days.

as part of World XI. The new PCB chairman addressed that, players from England,
New Zealand, West Indies, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Zimbabwe, and Australia
have agreed to play in Pakistan. Currently Darren Sammy, Paul Collingwood,
Hashim Amla, Imran Tahir are the only confirmed or most likely players to be
confirmed.
Cricket in Pakistan
Since 2009, only Zimbabwe tour and the PSL 2017 Final have
been played in Pakistan. The rest of the games have been played in Dubai. It is
also confirmed that Sri lanka and West Indies will tour Pakistan following
World XI. Nation will also watch the knockout stage and final of PSL 3 played
in their backyards, in Karachi and Lahore.
