Highest wicket takers in ODIs this year (ODIs: 2017)
Batting is what is more admired by many, but bowling is an
art on some can do, and when it comes to fast bowling these 5 bowlers are
undoubtfully the best in the world right now. In 2017 many new bowlers emerged
from teams and distorted through opposition batting, here am I with the list of
top 5 highest wicket-takers in ODIs this year.
#5 Hardik Pandya
2017 turned out to be a great year for the all-rounder. Pandya
took 29 wickets from 27 matches with an average of 36.27, economy of 5.61, and
best figures of 3/40.

Plunkett
Year 2017 finalized his place in the English Cricket Team’s
limited over format. He swings the ball at good pace creating trouble for batsmen.
Plunkett took 36 wickets from 18 matches with an avg of 22.47, economy of 5.62
and best figures of 5/52.

Considered has the best death bowler currently and rare Indian
bowling talent Bumrah has improved a lot since his debut back in 2016. He

Despite having a false age Khan has taken Afghanistan cricket
to the rise. He made his debuted against Zimbabwe back in 2015 and came a long
way spinning away the batsman. Rashid took an unbelievable 43 wickets form just
16 matches, with an even more unbelievable avg of 10.44 and an even more
unbelievable economy of 3.80. His best figures are 7/18 which are truly
jaw-dropping.

The No. 1 fast bowler of the world proves why Pakistan produces
quality fast bowlers every other day. He has great pace and can swing the ball
at times. He will finish 2017 with 45 wickets from 18 matches, with an avg of
17.04, economy of 5.03 and best figures of 5/24.
