Shahid Afridi names his ALL time XI

The COVID-19 lockdown is boring for us and is almost equally as boring for International Cricketing Stars. However, this does not stop top cricketer’s from having fun at home and keeping their fanbase engaged and following the sport. To do so, Pakistan’s star, Shahid Afridi released his own version of All-time best cricketing XI.


Shahid Afridi’s all-time-XI

Afridi named Pakistan’s second highest score in ODI’s record holder, Saeed Anwar and Australia’s legendary, Adam Gilchrist as the XI’s opening pair.

Ricky Pointing, Sachin Tendulkar, Inzamam ul Haq, and Jaccques Kallis were his middle order batsman along with Rashid Latif who acts as team’s wicket keeper.

Kings of Swing: Wasim Akram and Glenn McGrath along with Rawalpindi Express: Shoaib Akhtar, and the legendary spinner who could spin the ball miles: Shane Warne were part of Afridi’s all time XI’s bowling lineup.

The cricketer received major criticism by local, international fans and critics. Points as such were made as, Why the team consists of 5 Pakistani cricketers? Why Virat Kohli and other current big names aren’t present in the XI, and why Rashid Latif was included in the lineup.
