West Indies cricket to tour Pakistan this month!

Pakistan have successfully hosted PSL final, World XI for 3 T20’s, and Sri Lanka for one T20. West Indies cricket will also play 3 T20’s in Pakistan during the last week of November. Reliable sources have hinted that matches might be played in venues other than Lahore. The T20 champions, West Indies touring Pakistan would mark a huge one for Pakistan Cricket Board’s international cricket revival.

The rebirth of cricket in the home of the Green Shirts is still under progress and has received full marks after hosting World 11 and Sri Lanka. The Windies tour has been confirmed by Najam Sethi weeks before World 11 tour of Pakistan. Currently Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is in contact with Cricket South Africa and Bangladesh for possible tour, and has already convinced cricket Afghanistan and Cricket Ireland for future tour.


Clash of Dates

“Amidst all the developments of the T20I series in Pakistan, Windies is scheduled to tour New Zealand as well later this month. There is a stark possibility that the dates might clash with the Pakistan tour and if that happens then the Caribbean board is likely to send two different teams to both the countries.
